Ola Everyone!

If you guys are following me on Instagram, you must be aware that recently I took a week long break from my mundane life to travel to Thailand. Finally I’m blogging my amazing travel experience with you all. 🙂

Ever since I was a kid, I just had one goal, I want to earn enough, so that in my leisure time I can TRAVEL and EXPLORE the world! Basically, my life mantra is “Work hard, Party harder” :D. So coming down to my vacation, it was a 8 days and 7 nights work cum leisure trip (since I had also scheduled some work meetings) with my friends. We decided to go to Krabi and Bangkok. We had planned to stay for 1 and half days in Krabi and then head to Bangkok. We chose Krabi, since, Its not a densely populated tourist area, but has some of the most amazing beaches in Thailand. So basically, you get to enjoy the beach life in a serene atmosphere and that’s all what you need for a relaxing vacation! 🙂 We had researched in advance, and hence booked a hotel which was near to the beaches we wanted to visit.

We landed at the Krabi International Airport at 7.30 PM (Thai Time) and by 8.30 PM we had checked in at our hotel, Thip Residence Boutique Hotel. Thip Hotel is just across the Ao Nammao Pier. Krabi in  particular does not have much of a night-life as compared to Bangkok or Koh Samui, but you have nice little bars and shacks which are open till mid-night. Having travelled the entire day, we were absolutely exhausted to go anywhere far-off, so we decided to go for an authentic Thai dinner and some drinks to a shack (I absolutely fell in love with the cute wooden furniture they had), which was just 2 minutes away from our hotel. We had delish Pad Thai and Red Curry with some local beer and Pinacolada. And after our dinner, we dozed off.

IMG_3527So the real fun time in Krabi began the next day, I had one of the most amazing rooms, which had windows on two sides, and the morning views were refreshing and spectacular.

Ok, so ain’t these views amazing! Palm Trees, Mountains and Pool 😀

We decided to visit Railay Beach and Phra Nang Beach for the day! Both of these beaches are two of the most famous beaches in Krabi and are adjacent to each other. We took a boat ride from Ao Nammao Pier to reach there.

Ao Nammao Pier

Now it was the time to take the boat ride. The boat takes you to Railey Beach and from there you start your walk towards different parts of the beach. And once you reach there, you are bound to get lost in the enchanting beauty of this place! Emerald green and blue landscapes with limestone rock caves, white sand and gorgeous sunshine. Bliss! 🙂

Railay Beach

At Railay Beach, you can walk on the white sand, bare foot, enjoy the sun rise and sunset and have yummy lunch at Sunrise Cafe with a perfect view. We took a late lunch while returning back. After a nice walk and chit-chat session, we headed towards Phra Nang Beach, which has marvellous limestone rock caves and little juice and pan cake shops on its way. And then its the place, where you can relax and soak up the sun! 🙂

Phra Nang Caves and Beach

This beach was probably the best part of our entire Krabi trip. Oh! And if you ever happen to visit, dont forget to take your essentials- a beach towel, swimsuit, sunglasses, sunscreen, water and an extra pair of clothes. It was almost 4 PM when we started feeling hungry, and decided to head back and had our lunch at Sunrise Cafe before we went back to our hotel. For lunch, we again ordered Pad Thai (me loves it), Stir Fried Chicken in Red Curry and Spaghetti Pasta in mixed sauce, and it was the best meal from our entire Thai Trip!:D

Finally, after this yummy lunch, we came back to our hotel. After freshening up, we went out for a walk and then dinner at our hotel. Later at night, we all sat in the garden of our hotel, chit-chatted with some drinks. We had our flight back to Bangkok at 6 AM, so we had checked out from our hotel at 3 AM. It was a fun-filled relaxing time we had in Krabi.

Hope you guys enjoyed reading this. Stay tuned for my Bangkok Diaries.

Much Love

Ola Everyone!

There is something so beautiful about these Big Fat Indian Wedding which makes me fall in love with them! Everything from the extravagant functions, decorations, preparations, food, venues and of-course the dreamy outfits, they are all super fancy and sort of fairy tale like! 🙂 And its easy to guess, out of all these big fat things, which one would be my favourite…Yes you got that right, the dreamy outfits!! I am one of those persons, who would barely ever wear Indian outfits on regular days, but ofcourse I dont even leave any occasion or chance where I can get dolled up in my pretty Lehangas, Anarkalis and accessorise myself with the evergreen Kundan Jewellery.

Unfortunately, after my sister’s destination wedding in December 2013, I got no chance to wear my gorgeous Indian outfits also because I was not in India last year during Diwali, I was literally dying for 2015 wedding season to begin since I have as many as four weddings to attend. Kick-starting with the first one of this season, it was my friend’s wedding yesterday at Hyatt, Delhi. It was a Marwari Wedding, where I could spot ladies in Marwari Henna, the Rajasthani Mang-tikka and Tie and Dye Sarees, a pretty sight. Keeping in mind the Marwari wedding, I decided to go for a fuchsia gota-patti work Anarkali. The Anarkali has floral gota-patti detailing around the collar, neckline and cuffs. It has a net dupatta and satin lycra churidar. I wanted my look to be age appropriate and not too jazzy since I was the bride’s friend, so I went for this elegant Anarkali. Since my outfit was a delicate one, I rather went for some stunning heavy kundan earrings and a gold statement ring. I wore sequins sheer peep toes for my heels. The fuchsia and gold worked out for me really well!

For my beauty palette, I went for copper on the eyes, dark red on my lips and blush pink on my cheeks. Hope you guys loved the look!

P.S. Stay tuned. I am travelling  this month (guess, where??) and the travel diaries will be up on the blog soon! 🙂

Ola Everyone!

There are these days in my life, when I feel super happy and cheerful from within and everything around seems bright, vibrant, colorful and even more pretty!! My current state of mind is exactly the same. The one reason is because the weather is so amazing showing ample amount of sunshine in these cold Delhi winters and the other obvious reason is, its this January baby’s week! Yay to that! 🙂 This month has been about a lot of work meetings for me, and for obvious reasons it has to be a lot of work wear. But since, my favourite season- Spring is approaching, I decided to do a little wardrobe makeover and fill it with VIBRANT HUES.

As you all must be aware, I am really active on my Instagram. Thanks to this, I found out this amazing accessories brand called ZAHRA JANI ACCESSORIES. She has marvellous pieces of colourful and elegant jewellery. From day-wear to cocktails to chunky jewellery and accessories, she has it all! She decided to send me few of her opulent pieces- a ring, a bracelet,a head-chain and a neck-piece. The ring has intricate swarovski crystals embellished around a big turquoise stone, making it a perfect partner for a cocktail night. The cobalt blue stones bracelet is such a chic number. It can be easily worn with ethnic or western wear. The gold head-chain gives amazing boho vibes. And finally, the master-piece neck-piece, its multi-coloured beads and gold detailing makes it a head-turner beauty!

To bring out the beauty of these gorgeous Zahra Jani Jewellery, I decided to go for a boho look and took out my new Global Desi flare pants for play. I am totally digging at this trend because these are not only perfect for my day-out looks but has so much of desi vibes attached to it. These purple printed pants are super comfy and stylish at the same time. Love everything about it. I styled these flare pants with another new basic red long sleeves body hugging tee. Since I had to go for another meeting later that day, I gave a subtle look to my otherwise bright OOTD with my all time fave white printed cuff blazer, nude pumps and red handbag.

For my make-up I went for a neutral look with red lips, so that the look does not appear to be a tad overrated. And for my hair I chose sleek straight hair. Hope you guys love the entire look as much as I did!

Enjoy the sunshine!

P.S. I have to tell you all, I had like the most perfect weather on the day of this shoot. Right amount of sun-light, wind and chill and hence zero editing required! Happy Moi! 🙂

Ola Everyone!

A very Happpppy New year to all you lovely people out there!!! 😀

Still can’t believe its finally 2015 and here is my first post for the year. 2014 has just passed by in a jiffy, giving me so many amazing experiences. Blame it on this part of the year when you have parties almost everyday or my love for dressing up (something I have loved doing ever since I was 4 😉 ) , I have recently been a bit obsessed with the color oxblood and capes.

Usually this time is all about wearing sequins, foils, embellishments or anything blingy (Btw, my NYE was a pyjama party 😀 😉 )! On a particular evening, for a casual night-out I chose my latter obsession- a KNITTED GREY CAPE!!! The fact that I have a petite body type, the first thing that came to my mind was a big NO for trying this trend for fall. Quite Obivious, right ??? But, as you know, I love experimenting with new trends, I definitely had to give this raging trend a try!! 🙂

So, for my night out cape look, I styled this grey knitted cape which has cute side pockets, with a not so basic- basic black round neck tee with lace detailing neck-line and a dark blue ripped denim which I had rolled up from the bottom, to give that androgynous casual look. To add an edginess to my otherwise dull outfit, I had my scarlet red belt and gold accessories on- long chain worn as a double layer choker chain, watch, cuff rings and round toe pumps!! As for my hair, I kept my waves loose and wavy to compliment the look!

I feel so happy to try this cape trend, and I absolutely love how comfy and stylish it looks! Since, this was my first casual cape outing, I had to share my look with you all! Hope you all liked the look, as much as I loved pulling it off!! This look can be worn for a day out with your girlies, coffee outings, movie nights or any other casual night-outs!! 😀

Hey Everyone!

I feel super excited today, to finally start my blogging journey with you all! 🙂

Winters have finally arrived in Delhi- a wee bit late but in all its glory! The best part about this winters is that, that I get to play dress up, wearing all my new winter babies which I had shopped during my days in China and Hongkong, just before making my move back to India. Yay! 😀 I absolutely love wearing pleather (faux leather) jacket and some knee length boots to give that cozy yet chic look. These are like staple to my winters closet. Pleather jacket and boots are super versatile, that you can wear them with almost everything, be it dresses, shorts, skirts or denims, an add that extra oomph to your outfit.

I wore mine for a brunch meet, keeping it casual with earthy tones for the day look. I paired it up with a black tee and white denims. To add a pop of color, I had wrapped a scottish wool red scarf around my neck. To accentuate the look, I had put on pearl square ring, gold cuff rings, double pearl earrings,my black sunnies and red hangbag. Oh! and not to forget my winged eyeliner and red lips, adds that extra oomph to my look. Loved how this look had turned out! Hope you all like it as well!. 🙂
